MSU has hundreds of student organizations–some are profession-oriented while others are more connected to personal interests and commitments.  Joining a student organization can provide opportunities for you to meet like-minded peers, alumni, employers, and community members.  They are also a way for you to develop key skills like teamwork, communication, taking initiative, and more.  Taking on additional responsibilities as an executive officer or committee chair can also develop your leadership skills.
