Career Services at the Student Services Building offers several different career assessments. These assessments help you examine, understand, and talk about how your interests, personality, values, and skills combine to make you who you are. While these assessments will not tell you what major or career is best for you, the results can guide you toward careers you may wish to explore further.
The first step is to make an appointment with a career advisor or a field career consultant.
Your advisor will spend some time getting to know you, your situation, and your needs and expectations. This process helps the advisor identify the best assessment for you! Each assessment takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour to complete. Most assessments can be completed on-line, however others must be completed in the office. A follow-up appointment will be needed to review and interpret the results from your assessment and consider your next step. To get started, please click on ‘Career Advising’ in the column to the left.
